EAP Clinical Supervisor
Steve Anderson, LISW, CEAP, has been the Clinical Supervisor at the Genesis Employee Assistance Program (EAP) since 1996. In addition to holding a Master of Public Administration degree from Iowa State University and a Master of Social Work from The University of Iowa, Steve is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois. He also is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Before Genesis EAP, Steve served for nearly twenty years as a Marriage and Family Therapist and Clinical Supervisor for the Youth Service Bureau of Rock Island County. His areas of expertise include marriage and family issues, anger management, anxiety and mood disorders, and adolescent issues.
Kristi A. Manley, LMHC, LCPC
Kristi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and a Master’s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services from University of Maryland, College Park, MD. With an emphasis on wellness for both body and mind, Kristi teaches the social learning skills of cognitive-behavioral therapy in order to help clients improve relationships, make productive choices, reduce harm due to compulsive behaviors, and build a strong “inner core” of self-esteem and confidence with which to manage all of life’s challenges.
Kristi Cappaert, LMSW
Kristi holds a Masters in Social Work from the University of Iowa. In addition, she holds a Bachelor degree in Social Work from the University of Iowa. She is a licensed master’s level social worker in Iowa and Illinois. Kristi’s professional practice interests include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Her specialty interests are anxiety/depression, individual and family counseling, adolescents, marital counseling, and grief and loss.
Sheila Funk, LISW, LCSW
Sheila holds a Master in Social Work from the University of Missouri. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Biopsychology concentration from St. Ambrose University. She is a licensed clinical social worker in Iowa and Illinois. Sheila's professional practice interest include Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Her specialty interests are individual and family counseling, couples counseling, grief & loss, and mental health issues (i.e. anxiety, depression).
