As a fellowship trained Sports Medicine specialist, I apply the latest evidence based care to my patients that athletes of all levels receive. I enjoy the challenge of combining science and medicine to help individuals and athletes return to their activities.
I was raised in rural Oklahoma and served eight years in the United States Army. My wife and I moved back to Iowa from Wisconsin in 2016. I enjoy practicing in the Quad Cities as a Sports Medicine specialist as well as teaching Family Medicine residents about non-surgical Sports Medicine and Orthopedics.
CAQSM: The American Board of Family Medicine offers a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine (CAQSM). This CAQSM is designed to recognize excellence among those Diplomats whose practices emphasize expertise in the field of Sports Medicine.
