Call for an Appointment
I am passionate about my work as an emergency physician because I love caring for the most critically ill patients. In the Emergency Department, we get just a few short moments to figure out why someone is so sick. I enjoy this challenge and, most important, enjoy helping those patients heal. We are at the forefront of life every day in the department, and it is an honor to be a part of some of the most difficult moments in a patient's life. In the Emergency Department, we are there 24/7 for whomever needs our help regardless of ability to pay, and I love knowing that I can be there for whoever needs me.
I believe that we should treat the patient as a whole, which includes their body, mind, and every aspect of their lives - including family. From the time I was a child, I always wanted to be a physician. Nothing makes me happier than knowing that I can be there to help someone through some of the worst moments of their lives and help them to heal. Caring for another soul is one of the greatest gifts. My father had heart disease during my entire life, and I went with him to many doctors appointments. During those appointments, I was always so fascinated by the science that helped my dad healthier. Those times were very influential on my decision to pursue a career in medicine.
