I am passionate about family medicine because it allows me to follow patients for long periods of time and see the benefits of good, long term medical care in action.
I believe my role as a physician is to facilitate patients in achieving their health goals. Helping patients live the best life possible is what pushed me into the medical field.

Areas Of Interest
One of the things I enjoy most about family medicine is that I get to work with a wide variety of patients with a wide variety of problems. I am excited about any challenge that presents itself.
I am originally from Mason City, IA. After high school, I attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD, where I received my bachelors degree in Biology. I then moved back to Iowa for medical school at Des Moines University and graduated in 2018. I try to spend as much of my free time doing things outdoors. I especially enjoy hunting, fishing, biking, and golfing.
