I love helping patients and families feel better. Managing symptoms can be complex, but is exciting when you find a plan that works and helps the patient feel better. I love to have the time to spend with my patients and their families, talking about their goals and hopefully helping them achieve them.
My philosophy of care is to help patients enjoy the best quality of life, with whatever time they have. I initially became a nurse because I wanted to deliver babies, but found my calling and passion are in geriatrics and end of life care.

Areas Of Interest
Deprescribing, complex symptom management, advanced care planning and goal discussion. I also enjoy teaching and educating about palliative care and hospice, both within the medical profession and also out in the community.
I am a mother of three boys. I am also a dog mom to four wild and crazy hounds! I enjoy musical theater, history, travel, but most of all spending time with my family.
