I take great pride in my work as a physical therapist, and am honored that each of my patients and clients entrusts me to be a part of their healthcare team. I am passionate about optimizing movement for each individual that comes to see me in the clinic. I love the versatility of physical therapy and I love being able to personalize my treatment approach to fit the needs of my patients and clients.
My therapy treatment approach is typically a combination of manual interventions and therapeutic exercise with an overall emphasis on optimizing the human movement system. My personal background is in competitive dance and this drew me to the profession of PT as I have always loved movement. I am very goal directed with my patients and find we are most successful when we work towards a specific goal every session.

Areas Of Interest
I am most specialized in the area of orthopedics and subsequently performing arts and dance medicine. In addition to traditional physical therapy services, I offer injury prevention sessions/workshops and performance training sessions to my dancers. I also treat vestibular and post-concussion patients. I am trained in the Sports Lab and am able to perform specialized assessments on our 3D running analysis Motion Metrix system and ForceDecks force plates.
In addition to working as a physical therapist, I am the assistant dance coach for the St. Ambrose University Dance Team. I love working with my athletes and the competitive nature of the program at St. Ambrose. Outside of coaching, I enjoy staying active with cycling and yoga/pilates classes. I love to travel with my husband and my family, and also enjoy curling up on the couch with a good book!
