Rafat Padaria, M.D.
Dr. Padaria received her undergraduate training at Jai Hind College in Bombay and her medical degree from Topiwala National Medical College in Bombay, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at a combined program at Georgetown University/VA Medical Center, Washington DC. Her Cardiology Fellowship was completed at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.
Her professional interests include heart failure, valvular heart disease, congenital heart disease and lipid management. She has coauthored several papers for publication.
Dr. Padaria is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology. Her professional memberships include The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology as well as the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Padaria joined CVM in August 2003. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Nuclear Cardiology. She is licensed to practice in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Davenport East Rusholme and Trinity Terrace Park locations. She has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.
Dr. Padaria is married to Dr. Mark Kovach and they have two children.
