Kent J. VanWhy, M.D.
Dr. Van Why was born in Des Moines, Iowa. He received his undergraduate and medical training at the University of Iowa. He completed his Residency in Internal Medicine and served as Chief Resident at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1995, he completed Fellowships in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Electrophysiology at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Iowa Medical Society, the Scott County Medical Society, and the Rock Island Medical Society. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Electrophysiology.
Dr. Van Why joined Cardiovascular Medicine, P.C. in 1997 and specializes in Electrophysiology. He is licensed in both Iowa and Illinois and is available for outpatient consultation and follow-up visits at the Davenport East Rusholme, Moline, Burlington and Geneseo locations. He has staff privileges at Genesis Medical Centers and Trinity Medical Centers.
