Your support makes a difference

For 150 years, Genesis employees have been serving our community. You save lives, cure the sick, relieve suffering, comfort the dying, bring new life to birth, and keep people healthy.

For 25 years, you have been giving to the Genesis Foundation to make our community, and our health system, an even better place to live, work and play.

Because of you, the Foundation has granted funds to serve countless individuals in our community. Your gift makes an impact every single day.

Here are just a few things you've made possible:

$1 million+ in direct patient charity care through the Jane Folwell Heart of Mercy Fund

$750,000+ in direct grants to employees in crisis through the Bressanelli Employee Emergency Assistance Fund

More than $1 million in nursing scholarships and continuing education grants

The creation and continued support of the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, following the successful $7 million capital campaign to construct the home for end-of-life care

Vaccination of nearly 10,000 school children annually, free, through Flu-Free Quad Cities

Inauguration of Genesis Philanthropy, to raise and grant funds for regional population health initiatives, which has included free lung cancer screenings, a program to reduce metabolic syndrome, funding to launch Scott County Mental Health Court and Rhonda's House, a peer to peer respite house for individual with mental health care needs.

Distribution of more than 2,000 sleep sacks annually to promote safe sleep and prevent SIDS

Purchase of an exoskeleton, allowing people the opportunity to walk again after stroke, spinal cord or brain injury

Expansion of the Rock Steady Boxing program for individuals fighting Parkinson's Disease

Continuous support of the Family Connects Program, providing families with the support they deserve and infants the very best start in life.

Everyday we continue to support the programs and initiatives important to you and answer the call when employees and community members come to us with opportunities to make an impact. For example, most recently, we launched Brayden's Fund to serve families suffering from infant loss. This campaign includes a plan to build a No Foot Too Small Birthing + Bereavement Suite at Genesis East.

Will you continue to stand tall and care for our community?

Making a gift to the Genesis Foundation has never been easier. You may choose the method that works best for you to give a gift that means the most to you!

Philanthropy means love of mankind, when you give you show your own love of mankind. There is no greater joy than love. We hope that you feel great joy each and every time you give a gift meaningful to you.

We thank you for your commitment, we are grateful for your support, and we are humbled by your generosity.
