Genesis Medical Center-Davenport Receives Premier ASCEND Peak Award
Genesis Medical Center-Davenport is one of five hospitals recognized by Premier for ASCEND (Accelerated Supply Chain Endeavor) Peak Performance awards.
Peak Performance awards are given for exceptional supply chain performance. Wes Scruggs, Director of Performance Groups for Premier, presented the award to the Genesis supply chain team recently in Davenport.
Genesis Medical Center-Davenport was recognized for three key accomplishments:
• Negotiated costs savings of $1.1 million for Genesis Health System last FY and over $6 million for the past 4 years
• Participation in Premier educational sessions to benefit Genesis and other Premier organizations
• And, commitment to supply chain efficiency through contract implementation, utilizing the complete contract portfolio
