Joshua grew up in Elizabeth, IL and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Rockford in 2022. He and his wife have a son and love to be involved at their local church. He enjoys roasting coffee, eating spicy food, going outdoors, playing cajón, and being with family.
Troy grew up outside of Ann Arbor, Michigan. He attended East Tennessee State University for undergrad and Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school. He met his wife, McKenna, in medical school and together they enjoy exercising together, traveling, and spending time with their young son.
Dailen grew up in the northeastern part of the state in Decorah, IA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wartburg College where she majored in Biology and Spanish. In 2022 she graduated from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine located in Biddeford, Maine. She enjoys going on walks with her dog, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her family.
Blake grew up in Bettendorf, Iowa. He attended Luther College, where he was also part of the wrestling team. He then attended medical school at ATSU in Kirksville, Missouri. Blake and his wife have two young boys. Blake enjoys being outside, going fishing and playing sports with his family.
Nicholas is a 2022 graduate from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. He is originally from Sterling, VA and completed his undergraduate studies at Pensacola Christian College in Florida. He enjoys playing and watching sports, cooking and eating Italian food, and spending time with his wife and family.
McKenna is a 2022 grad from Des Moines University. She grew up in West Branch, IA and played basketball while she completed her undergraduate studies at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, IA. In her free time, she enjoys lifting, going to Hobby Lobby, and being outside with her husband, Troy and their son, Teddy.
Rachel is a 2021 graduate from Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is originally from Downers Grove, IL and completed her undergraduate studies at Augustana College. She enjoys running, biking, gardening, and spending time with her husband, family, friends and two rescue dogs.
Daisy is a 2021 grad from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She is from Swisher, Iowa where she grew up on an apple orchard. She then attended the University of Iowa where she participated in the Hawkeye Marching Band and graduated with a Bachelor's in Biochemistry. In her free time she enjoys mowing their family farm and spending time with her husband, daughter, and chocolate lab outdoors.
Kyle grew up in the rolling hills of Dubuque, IA just north of the Quad Cities. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, he began medical school at the University of Iowa and graduated four years later. He enjoys playing with his family and dogs outside, trying new restaurants, watching sports, and reading new books.
Michael grew up in Davenport, Iowa. He completed his undergraduate education at Augustana College and graduated in 2021 from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He enjoys playing piano, disc golfing, working on computers, and spending time with his wife.
Emily grew up in Clinton, Illinois and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for undergrad. In 2021 she graduated from medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, where she was a part of the Rural Medicine program. She enjoys Illini sports, Cardinals baseball, hunting, fishing, and country music.
Alex is a 2021 grad from Kansas City University. He is from Adrian, MO and graduated from Missouri Southern State University with majors in Biology and Biochemistry. He enjoys live music, traveling, anything KC Chiefs related, and spending time with his wife and border collie.
Kyle is a 2020 grad from Southern Illinois University. He is from Champaign originally and lived there from kindergarten through his attaining a Bachelor's degree in molecular biology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He decided to go into Family Medicine because he enjoys getting to know his patients and building long-lasting relationships with them. He has a passion for fitness and nutrition and enjoys working out, hiking, trying new recipes, baking, anything Disney/Pixar, and is a die-hard Chicago Bears fan.
Mary is a 2020 grad from University of Illinois College of Medicine at Rockford, IL. She is an officer in the Illinois Air National Guard and received her undergrad from the University of Illinois College of ACES in Urbana-Champaign, IL. She enjoys jogging, mountain biking, fishing, and painting.
Emily grew up in Dubuque, Iowa. She graduated from Loras College in Dubuque with a major in biochemistry. She then went on to receive her medical degree from AT Still University- Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. In her free time she enjoys hiking with her dogs, Beau and Bella, playing guitar and singing, baking, and spending time with her friends and family.
Kubat is a 2020 grad from the University of Iowa. He also received his undergrad degree from the University of Iowa. He enjoys playing the tenor saxophone, jazz flute, traveling, practicing martial arts, swimming, and spending time with his family.
Jenna grew up Cedar Rapids, IA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Wartburg College and attended Des Moines University for medical school. She enjoys trying new foods, spending time outside, and watching period piece movies (the more British the better).
Ronald is originally from Mt. Hope, WI and he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire where he received a bachelors degree in Biology. He worked at Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire prior to attending LECOM in Greensburg, PA where he graduated in 2020. He enjoys spending his free time either working at his family's farm or adventuring outdoors alongside his wife.
The mission of the Genesis Quad Cities Family Medicine Residency Program is teaching family medicine residents while providing a high quality of care to our patients in outpatient, inpatient, and model office settings.
